Inquisitive whales. Mysterious lava tubes. Undulating rainbows of fish. Soaring manta rays. Created by a goddess and steeped in Polynesian lore, Hawaii’s Big Island offers endless enchantment above and below the water's edge. And the ultimate way to experience all the adventure of these pristine waters is from aboard the islands' most luxurious live-aboard dive yacht, the award-winning Kona Aggressor II.
Upon arrival at Kona’s Keahole International Airport, you and a select group of experienced and novice divers will set off to explore ninety miles of azure waters along the Big Island’s primeval coast. Once aboard Kona Aggressor II, you’ll savor the gift of time. For the next six days, at up to thirty remote dive sites, you’ll enjoy diving and discovery - without shuttling back and forth to a resort for meals and sleep. Just relax, as our intimate ten-passenger, high-speed, power catamaran guides you to Kona’s alluring underwater bounty - all set in 74-82° water with visibility exceeding 100 feet.
Join enthralling flotillas of manta rays in a nocturnal ballet. Survey virgin reefs, home to over 500 species of Hawaiian marine life, many found nowhere else on our planet. It’s the ultimate way to meet Hawaii’s colorful natives, such as octopus, crabs, lobster, lionfish, starfish, triton trumpets, sea cucumbers, sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, angler fish, eels, Flowers of the Sea, tube anemones, nudibranchs, Spanish Dancers and coral eels. You may even come face-to-curious-face with the islands’ largest pelagics - whale sharks, porpoises, sharks or even whales.
Topside, our professional crew provides specialized dive programs and open water certification on special beginner-only charters. Recently, Kona Aggressor II is proud to have been named a Handicapped Scuba Association-approved barrier-free vessel offering HSA trained instructors.
Throughout your week aboard, you’ll be treated to unsurpassed live-aboard luxury. You’ll see why Kona Aggressor II was named “One of The Top Favorite Live-Aboards” in Rodale’s Scuba Diving Readers’s Choice Awards two years in a row.
The typical Aggressor scuba cruise itinerary revolves around one goal, maximum bottom time. Most dive schedules permit four, five, possibly six dives each day with delicious meals and snacks served in between. Here’s a sample of a week aboard the Kona Aggressor II:

- Sunday morning, diving briefing, then the first dive of many dives, including night dives.
- Between dive snacks, meals, soft beverages, local beer and wine are included.
